Mads Houmøller Klemmensen is a Danish visual artist. He is based in Copenhagen with atelier in Østerbro at Galleri Grok, DK. He graduated from Krabbesholm Art and Design School in 2000. Major solo exhibitions include Kunstforeningen KAB, Kunstforeningen i soloplast and Hellerup Waterfront. Since 2004 he has been working professionally in the art scene within modernizing a classical painting style. He is described as a bold in-depth artist that knows his Zorn palette and still challenges the ordinary with a contemporary twist.  He is inspired by John Singer Sargent and explores the existential space between light and dark / truth and authenticity, to human experience.
